Can It Be? 10 hours of sleep?

Max went to bed last night at 6:30, woke up to cry a few minutes later, and then was down for good around 7:00.  He just woke up at 5:00 a.m. — which is actually 6:00 a.m. due to daylight saving time.  That means he slept for 10 hrs.  I crashed around 11pm — which means this is the first block of uninterupted 6 hours of sleep since he was born.  I’ve also changed my pumping to a 12 hour schedule — so, no more getting up in the middle of the night to pump.  Maybe a week from now I’ll be done with pumping all together.  I’m giddy with what this means!

That’s so great! And he’s so young that it means he’ll end up being a great sleeper so long as you are consistent in how he goes to bed (which I know you are). 6:30/7 pm is the perfect bedtime. That’s why it sucks that our jobs keep us busy more in the afternoons/evenings.
